17 MINUTES by Scott Organ explores the communal and residual impact of a school shooting through the lens of Andy Rubens, a sheriff’s deputy who stands outside the building while a shooter was inside. In the aftermath, Andy wrestles with complicity, accountability, and the human need to find meaning after an unthinkable tragedy.
Following the reading, audiences were invited to stay for a moderated panel discussion designed to deepen the conversation the play ignites.
